World in Conflict Complete/Gold
Ok..I am going to "re-purchase" WIC when it makes it to STEAM in the GOLD or COMPLETE format(I Lost my FIrst Disk!!). I kinda miss it ..and with the russian add ons and new maps it may be a great time sink...

I think it's out in the US on the 10th (Er.. was out on the 10th..).. I haven't played for over a Year.. So It will be a Learning curve to get back in... but it's good stuff..

Yup, Soviet Assault is finally released. The official post can be found here.
March 10th was the US release date and March 12th is the EU release date.
I'm not sure if I am going to get it or not though.|TG-Irr|

Great, so now I have to buy the complete edition of a game I already have just so I can play through the extra missions. I'm getting a hint of EA in this...Note about STEAM versions:
The Steam versions are a bit different from standard boxed retail versions, so a Soviet Assault expansion downloaded from Steam won't run with a store version of WIC. Same thing the other way around, a Steam WIC version won't run with a store version of Soviet Assault. World in Conflict Complete will be available in the US, EU and other regions. The standalone Soviet Assault mission pack will only be available for North and South American users.

I just went and bought the COMPLETE STEAM Edition of WIC and the Addon for $29.99.. I had the Full version but lost it... I will probably loose any ranking I had..but it's been over a Years since I played... So maybe I don't deserve any of it.. ;-)

I just picked it up as well, and I have to admit it can be more fun (and also more frustrating if your team sucks) then I expected.
You can buy either/or via steam, you aren't forced to purchase both copies. I think SA is 20 bucks, and the base game is 30 bucks, with the combo deal being 30 bucks for both.
I go by the name "morganite" for the online version.

just wait a minute now, asking from the people who have bout the game with the soviet assault. is this game a game that will last, entertain and be worth the money? i want the game but i'm not in a positions to lose money.

It depends on how you judge games. I picked up the game sunday, and so far have about 10 hours into it. I'm sure I'll play it to at least 30 hours before I set it down so from my point of view I'm getting entertainment value out of it, but everyones opinion differs.
