Question to Big Point getters?

Ok..Playing last night I got my first 1000 point match..usually I am a 250-350 guy on average... Going Inf or Support. I Spammed ARTY to get the 1000+ points and had little helo resistance...
How do you big point getters get all those RP's to get a nuke and such? I am a spending Fool...and usually don't bank many of them..

One thing some people overlook is fortifying. You get about 6-7 points for capturing a control point, and eventually another 8 or so just for fortifying that position. If your support, repairing gives you TA, and of course blasting the crud out of the enemy with your arty and AA helps alot too. If you save em up and the other team doesn't bother with attacking your arty its pretty easy to get enough for a nuke, especially on assault maps

Also, don't stick to your class. If you're armour, buy a jeep or two to repair your tanks. Same goes for air, just keep the jeep well hidden.

That's a Great point...Maybe a "recipie" Post for the best combo's would be a great Sticky.!!.. The Best Starting Combo's etc..???

Or better yet, call down your armor and blow stuff up and use the points you get to call down a repair jeep.

Yep have a hummer always in backlines or behind enemy base for quick repairs... especially with Airb

I find inf works preaty good. Very few people in my experence understand that they compleatly destroy helipoters. Within the first 2 min of a round, i was already at 15 TA points, because they kept sending theyre choppers and i kept mowing em down.

And you can always give TA points to another player who then with some luck will have the good fortune to catch the Enemy with a full rush in the blast zone. I just love to watch when the nuke comes down on top of their heads.

Heh... they are visually more impressive then the Nuke I think....

Yeah, I love the Carpet Bombers, especially the NATO ones. I called one in expecting to see a massive bomber fly across slowly and release some bombs. I was quite surprised, then, when a Tornado flew across and shot a load of bombs out of a Bomblet Dispenser (BDSP).

You can get 2 carpet bombs for only a bit more than a nuke, and they are more effective and fun to watch. The only reason I'd use a nuke is to get the badge (which for some reason I still haven't recieved even though I nuked a load of people on Bridge).

Also, I don't think many people use the 1x, 2x, 3x TA feature. Where it tells you how many TA points you need for that TA, but you can click the small numbers next to that and call in multiple strikes. And the best thing is, if something costs say, 35 TA, one costs 35, but 2 don't cost 70, and 3 don't cost 105. Its more like 35, 60, 90. very useful, especially for vehicle drops and tank busters.

Agreed with the multipliers. Also, for things like artilery, you can cover a larger area, with only a 1 second delay between strikes. Not the 30 second recharge time.
