Guild Vault Access
Intro:
As you may know, the powers that be at Blizzard Entertainment have rolled out a new feature in World of Warcraft known as a "guild vault". This addition has been a long time coming as many guilds, including our own, have needed a way to organize guild materials and to make them known and available to the guild at large. Our Guild Vault is in its infancy, so please be patient as we roll out our plans for its use. As always, these rules are subject to change as our needs change.
Unfortunately, any system we use has the for potential abuse if it isn't monitored carefully. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly or have cause for concern, please bring this to the attention of the current bank officers (Luna, Ricca, and Orion). We will do everything we can to be as fair as possible to all. Remember, our Guild Vault is a resource for the guild as a whole, and is being used as an enhancement to our gaming experience.
Be advised- if you are caught involved in manipulation of any kind of the Guild Vault, all of your characters will have their access to the vault removed, and you will be subject to suspension/removal from the guild. The Guild Vault is a privilege and shouldn't been seen as a way for an individual to profit at the Guild's expense. We will strictly adhere to our anti-abuse policy.
We ask that you consider the well-being of the guild when you withdraw and deposit. Depositing should be done to items that are of worth to another in the guild. Try passing it out in guild chat first if you think it might be used immediately. Withdrawal privileges should not be abused. If you are withdrawing from the Vault, you should also be depositing items of worth to keep the Guild Vault in a state of balance.
Tab Breakdown:
Tab 1 - Withdrawal of General Items: Players are allowed to remove 1 stack per day. (Stacks will be increased as we become comfortable with the Vault's stability.)
Tab 2 - Deposit Only: Players are to deposit their donated items here. Bank officers will move items from here to Tab 1 for withdrawal by the guild.
Tab 3 (Currently) - Old world items including mats and reputation items. Expect these items to be sold or in the case of reputation items, given to certain players with a profession that might benefit from them to learn a new recipe.
[b]Tab 3 (Future) - Delerium's Bank space. To be maintained and deposited/withdrawn from by Wisperwynd/Chadweeko.
Tab 4 - Resurgent's Bank space. To be maintained and deposited/withdrawn from by Gaviin/Sajier. If you would like to deposit into this Tab, you need to first give your items to an officer. This is to eliminate clutter in this Tab for easier management.
Tab 5 - Food Tab. All things edible go here. Please deposit cooked or uncooked food here. You can withdraw or deposit 5 stacks. Don't worry about being greedy as you take uncooked food and put it back in cooked. (Also easy to use this tab to "transport" items from one city to another instantly. Figure it out yourself.)
How to Deposit Items into the Guild Vault:
You can deposit all materials into Tab 2. If you wish for something to be deposited into the Resurgent Tab (#4), please send the item to an officer with a note specifying your intentions.
How to Withdraw from the Guild Vault:
Withdrawals from Tab 1 will be on a "first come, first served" basis with up to 1 stack per day allowed. Withdrawals of higher valued items will be done via a guild auction, which will be announced weekly by a bank officer on the forums. NOTE: We realize this auction idea hasn't taken off just yet, and needs to be revisited in order for it to be an effective tool for the guild to use. If you see an item you are interested in, send a PM to Orion, Ricca and/or Luna requesting the item.
What will happen to the items I deposit?
Green items without resistances will be DE'd for enchanting materials.
Blue Items 65+ will be considered of higher value and will be set aside for the weekly guild auction.
Blue Items under 65 will be placed on AH and sold. Money earned from auctions will be deposited back into the bank for future use.
Tentative Plans:
Higher valued items will be placed up for auction WITHIN the guild. The system we have in mind will involve posting a group of items here on the forums that you will be able to "bid" on by replying to the thread with the name of item you are interested in. After one week, the thread will be closed and any competing bids will be rolled on by the bank officers to determine who wins each item. We will try a system on the forums where several items are up for grabs via a forum thread. All players interested needs to place their interest in that forum thread within a week. At the end of this period, the item will be rolled on by a Bank Officer on behalf of those individuals and the items dispersed accordingly. This should allow enough time for guildies to voice interest, and is in the fairest interest to the guild.
