The Tactical Gamer Guild is moving to a new sub-forum within
TG. We needed a face-lift both for our morale, and our recruiting. We are seeking to become more organized and provide an all-in-one stop for those wanting to know everything about the
TG guild.
We've updated the portal page as well with this move. It now includes links that are specific to
WoW, Thunderhorn's current server status, and even a Teamspeak display that shows those that are in the World of Warcraft channel. There are also direct links to our Raid Site, Professions Site, and the DKP Site used by the Resurgent Platoon. Announcements will be visible on the front portal page.
There will be a greater admin/moderator presence as well. I, personally, have full access to everything contained within this sub-site and will continue to maintain and add functionality to it.
We've also included a new "Ranking" system that should help to differentiate our players while providing a sense of belonging. We'd like to be able to quickly tell who is and is not in a squad or platoon so that we might be able to better find a home for them. These ranks will also show who the leaders are of both the guild and the raiding divisions.
There is also a new "Class Discussions" forum that we hope will be a well used area. We'd like to see everything from useful addons, guides, and even upcoming patch notes posted in that forum so that our players are better informed. If it is about a specific class, please try to name the title appopriately (ie: Druid 3.1 Changes).
Because this is a new site, you'll need to register. We'd ask that you use your same name and password as found on
www.tacticalgamer.com in the event that we merge the user databases. The new site can be found at our
http://www.tacticalwarcraft.com domain.
I will be porting over any needed posts that reside on the TacticalGamer.com site. So please don't copy someone's post and declare it as your own, or don't even quote it. Let's start out these forums by keeping them organized. Along these same lines, any "First" posts will be deleted and I'll delete your user account so you have to re-register and have to deal with the CAPTCHA image verification again....don't screw with me (:_P).
