No, a hunter can't manage it. The only dot we have is nature based and useless while he's out of pure form. Hell, its useless already because he's an elemental and immune to the poison. Also you still take damage which is why the warlock (affliction specced) is keeping syphon health up and his health is floating at 60-70% even with the constant healing. Basically you need to find a way to out heal the boiling water ticking for 500 damage when you're pathing him down below. Also if you have LoS on Hydross than Hydross has LoS on you and that means you're going to eat a vile sludge for 20,000 damage over 24 seconds because you're at +500% nature damage.

Locks are overpowered. -.-
