Leveling Inscription 1-300

This guide is meant to assist in leveling the new Inscription profession from 1 to 300. (an addition for levels 300-375 will be added once the profession is fully implemented in-game.)

Keep in mind that this is just one recommended leveling route. Everyone levels professions differently. The following is an outline of the quickest, easiest way we've found so far.

Below is a list of current Inscription training NPCs:

Items Created

Below is a list of items that were created for each step of leveling 1 to 300. Materials required per item are in brackets.

Note: When the ~ symbol appears by a number, that means the number is the approximate amount that should take you up to the listed level. I have rounded up in ever case, so as to avoid listing too few ingredients in this guide. Your results may vary slightly.

Note: This guide uses Druid Glyphs because as of Beta Build 8885, they are the only Glyphs without bugged material costs. Using Glyphs more related to your own class will likely be a viable option once materials costs are fixed.

* 1-25: ~30 x Silver Ink (1 x Silverleaf)
* 25-40: 15 x Scroll of Intellect (2 x Silver Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
* 40-60: ~25 x Moonglow Ink (1 x Alabaster Pigment)
* 60-70: ~15 x Scroll of Recall (1 x Moonglow Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
* 70-80: ~15 x Bleached Vellum (1 x Moonglow Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
* 80-90: ~15 x Midnight Ink (1 x Dusky Pigment
* 90-100: 10 x Glyph of Rejuvenation (1 x Midnight Ink, 1 x Light Parchment)
* 100-110: ~15 x Lion's Ink (1 x Golden Pigment)
* 110-125: ~20 x Glyph of Entangling Roots (1 x Lion's Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
* 125-150: ~30 x Glyph of Healing Touch (1 x Lion's Ink, , 1 x Common Parchment)
* 150-165: ~20 x Jadefire Ink, (1 x Emerald Pigment)
* 165-175: ~15 x Glyph of Moonfire (1 x Jadefire Ink, 1 x Common Parchment)
* 175-200: ~30 x Glyph of Insect Swarm (1 x Jadefire Ink, , 1 x Common Parchment)
* 200-210: 10 x Celestial Ink (1 x Violet Pigment)
* 210-225: ~20 x Glyph of Rebirth (1 x Celestial Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
* 225-250: 25 x Glyph of Rip (3 x Celestial Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
* 250-275: 25 x Glyph of Starfire (3 x Shimmering Ink, 1 x Heavy Parchment)
* 275-300: 25 x Glyph of Shred (3 x Shimmering Ink, , 1 x Heavy Parchment)

Required Materials

Below is a list of the total materials used in the above list:

* 30 x Silverleaf
* 30 x Alabaster Pigment (for example, 75 x Peacebloom = 3.75 stacks)
* 15 x Dusky Pigment (for example, 36 x Briarthorn = 1.8 stacks)
* 50 x Golden Pigment (for example, 125 x Liferoot = 6.25 stacks)
* 45 x Emerald Pigment (for example, 110 x Goldthorn = 5.5 stacks)
* 45 x Violet Pigment (for example, 110 x Purple Lotus = 5.5 stacks)
* 50 x Silvery Pigment (for example, 125 x Dreamfoil = 6.25 stacks)
* 55 x Light Parchment (approx. 8 silver)
* 95 x Common Parchment (approx. 1 gold, 15 silver)
* 95 x Heavy Parchment (approx 11 gold, 30 silver)

Do we even have someone willing to level inscriptions? It seems very strongly focused as a caster secondary profession since the craftables you can make are not only scrolls but off hand caster books.

I will be leveling inscription on Talara, and I have heard a couple others say they were as well. Talara should be max level inscription on the first day of the patch if I did my math right.

I am 360 inscription on Blastcap. I have a bunch of inscriptions made for guild use, once I can actually stay on long enough in Shat to do something with them.

I have every inscription that is available atm (nothing that is higher than 350 training). If you need something just PM me here or send Sajaman a in-game mail and I will make it. If I don't have the mats (used most of my herbs getting to 360), I would request that you send 10 of one type of herb that meets the ink requirement.
