Re: TG Dueling Tournament- July 31st, 7PM EDT

I promised Luna I would post some lowbie point of view information. There was some discussion on teamspeak last night about lvl 60's using their alt characters in the tourney. According to what I heard was that it would be a totally different experience using a lower level character than the higher one. I agree ALMOST totally. The counterpoint to this is the total amount of game experience not character experience. For example: I have been playing this game for a total of about 40 days. I am still not out of my free usage with the 10 day and 30 day game codes. There are TONS of nuances that I do not understand about my own character, never mind other classes. On the other hand a person with a lvl 60 main with a lvl 35 alt will have played for???(perhaps a year). There is much more game experience there.
During this time there is much more information gained about the strengths and weaknesses of each class. Spells can be equipped based upon this information and then used for a huge advantage.

That being said, I truly enjoy being in this guild. I could care less wether I win or lose a tournament. My character benifits from your knowledge every day and I am truly grateful. As I said Luna made me post this kinda view as food for thought.

What are the rules for the tournament? As in, since i'm an alchemist may i use my potions? Can we use items we get from quests?

All final rules will be posted once the deadline passes tonight. Keep your eyes peeled for a brand new thread about it!

Re: TG Dueling Tournament- July 31st, 7PM EDT

I'd like to join in for the hell of it though dueling isn't my forte. Luna told me that I have some leeway on the deadline since I just got invited to TG tonight (the 24th) at around midnight. Should be fun!
