TG Dueling Tournament

Attention all Tactical Gamer Guild Members:

You are hereby invited to participate in the first one-on-one TG dueling tournament. Matches will be kicking off at 7PM EDT on Sunday, July 31st. Players will utilize their skills to best their opponent in a best out of 3 ladder match in the town of Gadgetzan. What can you win? Gold, my dear friends. Lots and lots of gold.

Who can compete?
The tournament is open to all guild members with a level 20 or above character. You may only enter one character per guild member, although the character you choose to enter is entirely is up to you. However, if you have a level 60 in the guild, we kindly ask that you compete with that character.

What can I win?
A significant quantity of bling will be presented to the #1 guild member within each "level bracket". Level brackets are broken up into half-decades, as follows:

30-34 10 gold
35-39 10 gold
40-44 Truesilver Champion (est. AH value: 20+ gold)
45-49 Truesilver Champion (est. AH value: 20+ gold)
50-54 TBA*
55-59 TBA*

*Level 50 and above, rest assured, we have some big prizes in order for you. We haven't decided on them yet, because we want to make sure they're really, REALLY sweet.

How do I sign up? Is there a deadline for registration?
To sign up the character that you wish to compete with, reply to this announcement with the name of your character and their current level in game. Sign up will close one week prior to the event. You must sign up NO LATER than Midnight EDT on Friday, July 23rd to secure an spot in the tournament for your character. A minimum of 2 players must sign up for each level bracket in order for that bracket to compete.

Is there an entry fee?
In order to truly buff up the prizes to be won, we ask that each participating member donates 1 gold to the guild. (Mail gold and items to Luna, the Guild General.) If you are below level 40, any donation is welcome, whether it be items that you don't need, or smaller amounts of silver. If this is even remotely a hardship for you, please contact Luna. This is a donation not an entry fee, and will not prohibit anyone from participating, should they be unable to donate.

How will the ladder match work?
The competition will run like a typical ladder match. Each competitor will be assigned an opponent randomly within their level bracket. Whomever wins best out of 3 matches in the first round advances to the next round to compete against another winner of round one. We will continue this process of elimination until there is only one guild member left standing to represent each level bracket.

Dueling will occur in the presence of at least one guild officer, to ensure fairness. The guild General will also be present to cheer the competitors on and award gold accordingly.

Where the hell is Gadgetzan?
Travel arrangements can be made in advance for those who haven't had the pleasure of establishing the flight point to Gadgetzan.

You know im in....I think an arcanite reaper would be a sweet reward for the 60's. The last I saw one was in the AH for 600 gold buy out. But in all reality, I will be there for the honor of competing with my fellow guildmates. Rest assured, anything that can be used, will be used.

Good luck to all the participants and dont worry if you opponent is a couple of levels higher than you. Ive seen it done before!

At the goading of many of our fabulous guildmates( Luna, Bleue, Crimson =p) im gonna duel. Also, I will be comming out of pocket for the upper level winners, 50-60th level char with an undetermined amount of cash for you to shower in. Im gonna be doing some major farming between now and then to make sure the prizes are nice and fat. Im hoping to get at least a couple of epics, but if not, the gold sum should be nice and juicy.
