Assuming this will be released in Patch 1.10 (can’t wait to see - lol), what exactly will be this relic? Is it a new item or an extra slot?

It's a new slot that will replace our ranged slot. It'll be like a trinket of sorts. but not an actual trinket.

I'm gonna miss my Egans blaster though...

Lol, I think i laughed for like an hour ab out the whole "Egan's Blaster" the comment the guy made..... made me honestly really want to go do the quest so i could run around with it too.

And on that note: How do you get that quest? Isnt it the one to capture the spirits in scarlet strat?

Yes it is. I think you get it from Egan in EPL at 14, 33. If you use the tunnel that goes NW from the river to the haunted village, come out of the tunnel and head right (south). Egan hangs out in a little house.

If you go north just after entering the EPL, head up along the river. There is an NPC at a house (who also is the starting point for some really NICE quests). Just beyond (north) of the house is the tunnel entrance. It is a long tunnel that comes out in the plagued/haunted village.

Ahhh! yes! I have been up to the house, got my sweet tanking breastplate off the dude (LONG quest!!!)

Never realized there was a secret tunnel - thanks a bunch for the info!

Ranged weapon! Can I get an amen! You know I have Egan's Blaster equiped, lol. Every now and then when I am in strat, I will zap a spectral citizen for the fun of it.

Granted, I'll lose the burst DPS from Pissing People Off Outright, but I'll get DoT's and higher damage through AoE's.
