Re: Dynamic Signature for World of Warcraft
I will be doing this shortly. My problem is that I run wow on my home computer under linux. so some of the uploading programs don't work. I also have it running on my laptop under windows so I will get mine updated shortly, but it will only update once a week or so.

Re: Dynamic Signature for World of Warcraft
Now, how many have read the readme's in the downloads?

I'm at the office so can't try it yet, but I'm itching to see the results of "/cp show" and "/gp show".Dude, seriously, WHAT handkerchief?

Curse gaming page for UniUploader:
http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=192
It's a GUI .NET app, and Mono doesn't yet support a lot of the .NET infrastructure needed for GUI support, so it likely won't run under Linux. But I see in one of the comments there that UniUploader just automates a web form submission. So you might be able to use curl to do the job, with the -F option. I was going to do that for Census+ (using the Win32 curl binary) but the census DB is down so there's no point at the moment in pursuing that.Dude, seriously, WHAT handkerchief?

Ya I think image is just of your race. I love to be able to sub the char image with a char portrait from your own character though.

As much as I like this new sig thing, I'm not interested in knowing your cooking skill or your first aid...[/yawn]. Even your professions are only mildly interesting to me.

Come on, you don't want to know who can cook you up a nice spiced egg? Or who you can borrow a tackle box from for your weekend of WoW fishing?

Re: Dynamic Signature for World of Warcraft
I only get the SavedVariables. Why aren't CharacterProfiler and GuildProfiler showing on the list?Click on "Show SV" and verify that the following items are checked: CharacterProfiler, GuildProfiler and SavedVariables.

Those are useful to me. It tells me who to twink stuff to that I can't use. Like who's a tailor and which tailors need which kind of cloth. Or who to request a profession item from.

Re: Dynamic Signature for World of Warcraft
Looks like you didn't install the Interface/Addons that were deatiled in the original post. Make sure you put them in the right place and that they are activated as Interface addons in WoW.

Re: Dynamic Signature for World of Warcraft
It could also be that you need to log on to your character once the mod is running, log out, then restart the game. Restart the UniUploader as well...Here's how it works:

2) You then need to start your game and log onto any character.
3) When you log out, a backup is made of all addons you used. Basically the addons save themselves for the next time you logon.
4) You then shut down WoW for good measure.
5) Start up the UniUploader program.
6) It will now be able to see the SavedVariables as well as the GuildProfiler and CharacterProfiler on that list. You just told the UniUploader what data files (or addon backups) that you want it to upload. (If you did not log out of WoW, then there was nothing saved, and nothing to Upload via the UniUploader.)
Hope this helps...
