Re: Yer Mom and WoW
Thanks for the insight. I'm thinking on making a druid, but it's undecided right now. I'll know when I get to the creation.

Now we may not do everything quite as good as the 'main' classes, but it sure fun to switch mid raid from a healer to a tank or what not.

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
We only ask druids to tank cause you get all sulky when we tell you to heal.
At least us Paladins know we're healbots, and have accepted that. :P_________________
I'm planning on respeccing to Irritation pretty soon. Granted, I'll lose the burst DPS from Pissing People Off Outright, but I'll get DoT's and higher damage through AoE's.

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
Battle Rez from druid FTW! Ennervate FTW!! A full Resto Druid with decent gear can outheal most priests...and can still do some serious offense. A Feral Druid can tank...and still do some decent healing when called on. Casters love partying with an Owlkin druid for the buff. Druids are flexible...but that was always my frustration...I wanted clarity of role, not flexibility. I love druids...but don't want to play one.

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
My first toon was a druid. I loved him until I played a mage and a hunter. Let's just say he is still sitting at lvl 19 not doing a thing. I might have to go lvl him to see if my feeling have changed any.

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
Time is running out, and I still haven't decided. I'm not sure what I will be when I start the game, but let's push past that. I realize that I have to do most all of the work, but what help do you provide new characters in the guild? Is there any particular things I need to do to be part of the guild, etc? What side do I need to be? Alliance or bust, or what?

Alliance on the Thunderhorm PvE server.
Whisper Crebis or Lunatg or Beep or Manetheren or Ricca for an invite
Since you are a long time member of the TG community you will be welcomed to the guild. Once you are in game and need help just ask, if people are free and around your level, or have alts at your level, then they will help out.
Hope to see you soon.[23:28] Wyzcrak: Exactly. There's no problem that can't be solved by the right topical creme or Google.

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
How do rez spells for different classes compare? My understanding is that the druid rez requires a regent from a vendor and has a long cooldown, so you can't rez the whole party. Priests don't have that restriction, and I don't think Pallies do either. What other characteristics should be considered? (My toons in these classes are all lowbies, so I don't know how the spells evolve as one gets to higher levels.)

Re: Yer Mom and WoW
Correct, The druid Rez does require a reagent but it can be used in and out of combat. It has a 30 minute cool down. This might seem like a restriction but it is not designed to bring the whole party up. It is designed to bring up a person in combat like a priest or a tank, saving a wipe.
A priest and pally rez only works out of combat. I don't know about the reagents but I don't think the priest one does, the pally might, others will have to comfirm it. There rez is to bring up people outside of combat. after a wipe or what not.Last edited by beep; 05-08-2006 at 05:47 PM.
