Plenty of people to cruise around with....although Thunderhorn is pretty much mature in terms of players: mostly 60s and their alts.

If you can drag yourself away from DnD Online, we would be happy to assist.

    Thanks!

I thought everyone knew I was a former WoW player.. ahh well.. I still have a timecard in my wallet - I use them because you can start/stop the time use on it per day.

Enough thread Hijacking, I plan on jumping on Thunderhorn before long.. NOW.. if we can just make a day last 30 hours instead of just 24.. then I could play WoW and D&DO! And as an added bonus - I'd age slower!

P8riot, How can you use a time card per day? I don't play 2 or 3 days a week so that would be really useful information

    Re: Thunderhorn latency issues

I should check it and make sure it still works like it used to - I found out about it off the WoW website somewhere - I think when I was quitting the 'first time'. With your credit card you pay monthly with a GC you pay for 60 days. so if you deactivate your account, you still have the balance of the days available.

    Make sense?

Edit/Add: I'll check it this weekend to make sure they still do it that way - Don't wanna be tossing bad ideas out there.

    Re: Thunderhorn latency issues

I was having major latency issues late last night, which is too bad, since Phantom and Ricca were escorting me through the Burning Steppes.

Apparently, the last time I got kicked (at 4000 latency no less), I just aggroed half the Steppes and several drakes with all my random lags. Of course, I could not see any of this, since, as far as I was concerned, I was looting a dead Dragonkin.

The next login should be TONS of fun.

Nah Mateo, we stationed phantom and Ricca there to continuously kill the dragons until you respawn and get out of there alive.

Nations are like individuals: they achieve more when they plan to plant a tiny tree, and do it, than when they propose to raise an entire forest and then fall asleep in the furrows.

I AM socializing artard, I'm logged on to an MMORPG with people from all over the world and getting XP with my party using Teamspeak

Sure you did. And you saved all the drops for me too, right?

    Re: Thunderhorn latency issues

I'm wondering how much of the latency is related to XP. Since I've been playing on Ubuntu (about 3 days), my latency has not spiked above 100ms, while others have still been complaining about it.
