The letter 'b' is often pronounced as v in Gaelic. So her name is pronounced Mave. Alternate spellings are Maedbe or the traditional spelling Medb. Although, I'm still waiting for the Queen to make good on her 'promise...' I did haul a particularly massive rock to the top of her Cairn.
