That is that when in combat we revert back to the GR days where

    "DEAD MEN DON'T TALK"

out of combat you may be dead and some communication may be needed but in combat if your dead you are no longer part of the combat shut up unless you are asked to speak about where you are for a druid res or something. If your dead there is nothing you have to contribute for the duration of the fight.

Does this mean I can't scream "OMGZORS, BATTLREZ ME OKTHNX"

Actually, many members of the Guild could do with a read of the GR SOPs.

Re: Some observations on the Ragnaros fight

We won't always need every single buff we can get for this fight, but can we throw the kitchen sink at Rags this weekend? Ricca and some of the other alchemists are always bringing pots. But if we can gather enough mats for cooking buffs, oils, maybe flasks. I'd be happy to contribute shots of Brilliant Wizard Oil (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52406) or Brilliant Mana Oil (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52421) for everyone in the raid. I'll bring 3 of each (they each have 5 charges - so 15 shots of each one).

My fishing stinks, but I'd be happy to supply 20xRunn Tumm Tuber Surprise (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=35688) and 20xTender Wolf Steaks(http://www.thottbot.com/?i=39939). I can cook the Squid, Nightfin, and Salmon recipes if people have the fish.

I've never done the buff quests in the Blasted Lands or the Ungoro Crystals. Can these things be farmed and put on at a later time?

I don't know how Ark and Crebis feel about this, but when I've seen it done EVERYONE was expected to bring 10 greater fire pots and take them often during the fight (4 or so per attempt is what it ends up working out to usually). That's alot of pots, but it really helps and it could make the difference in keeping enough people up to finish him off.

Re: Some observations on the Ragnaros fight

I won't be there Friday or Saturday, but I will gladly provide some Brilliant Mana and/or Wizard Oils. I have a bunch of Shards atm, so I just would need some purple lotus (mana) and firebloom (wizard) and I can make a bunch of this and provide it to someone to bring on the raid.

As a word of experience. I used a Flask of Distilled Wisdom (Thanks Dewi!) a couple weeks ago and it did make a huge difference as I hit 10k mana and was basically never even close to running out of mana before the sons killed me.
