WOW -- This is huge for KTM users

From the patch notes:

Quote:
- Threat Reduction Effects
This system has been redesigned to eliminate inconsistency in how
the effects work. Previously, some were additive (for example: 30%
reduction + 20% reduction = 50% reduction) while others were
multiplicative (30% reduction and 20% reduction made 44% reduction,
from 0.7*0.8). They are now all multiplicative. This also prevents
unpredictable behavior when the total reduction percentage was equal
to or greater than 100%. Please note that in almost all cases, when
stacking multiple threat reduction effects you will experience less
threat reduction than previously.
That means that KTM is going to be off for a while while they rescale the effects of certain talents, etc.

And, fwiw, this is why I've been an advocate AGAINST KTM for simple fights. We'll need it for certain fights, however, NOTHING beats intuition.

KLHThreatMeter » World of Warcraft Addons and UI Mods

1.11 / 1.12 Compatible. R17 will work on the 1.11 servers, and also the PTR and 1.12 when it comes up. In particular, several threat modifiers are additive in 1.11 and multiplicative in 1.12.

--> Channelless communication. When running on 0.12 or the PTR, the mod will use the new hidden Addons channel for communication. This means CTRA / oRA is no longer a requirement, and there will be no more problems with people not being in the wrong channel. The mod will now work automatically in a 5-man party too.

Re: WOW -- This is huge for KTM users

You still need CTRA for KTM to work and you need the latest version of both for them to communicate with each other.
