Yeah, the drop rate shouldn't be *that* bad. Let's assume that 2000 records have been added to allakhazam since 1.12 (and I think that's a big over-estimate). 26 of the books have dropped, giving it a 1.3% drop rate. Not great, but not that bad. And like I said, I'm guessing the population is less than 2000. We'll see...

And hijacking goes hand-in-hand with ninja'ing... which we all know is my specialty.

    Abyssal Royals

You guys who knock Silithus should get used to it if you want to tackle AQ40. There is gear available through that zone that is pretty important for this from what I've heard. This means nat. resist leggins from the Calling questline. Abyssal Scepters from royals, which gets u a nat. resist ring. And many high-teir equivalent epics. Not to mention the normal cenarion circle items.

I hate the place really also, staring at the same terrain and bug renderings over and over gets real tedious. But, alas, it's a means to an end.

Crebis mentioned this over TS last night (a lil irritably I might add...hehe). To keep pushin the guild fwd. we need to throw in these more obscure raids. I agree it helps to add Ony or BWL to "compel" people to join, but inevitably the interest has to be there or people will leave the raid anyways or just not bring their a-game.

DKP seems an obvious solution for all these problems. As for the Royals (lords) they ALL drop epics. The very least of which is an Abyssal Scepter. The scepters are 100% drops. Other epics like Windshear Cape and Earthen Guard seem to drop around 50%, otherwise it's a bunch of blues. From what I've read, one of the Royals (Prince Skaldrenox) drops nearly the best mage-ring in the game (Elemental Focus Band). So these guys are worth doin...

The Respawn as of patch 1.11 is 3 HOURS.. not 12 or 24... this is per WoWiki - which could be wrong of course.

NOT farming these things is pretty dumb guys.
And they dont need 40 people either... decently geared these have been done with 20. they're really 20-40 man raids. Just depends on balance mostly.

You could even say it was ninja'd.

I'm not a big fan of Silithus, but I do think doing the Lords is a good thing. The original post for an Ony raid was put up on Wed and Ony is a short thing that can be done before or after other things. Sure put it up as a seperate raid whatever . I wasn't trying to say lets do this INSTEAD of the lords.
    Gigan - Shaman (Resto)
    Pistos - Semi-retired Shadowpriest
...and other distractions of various levels.
