36 hours of No WOW! - Page 3

I played about 2 hours of solo GRAW last night and an hour or so tonight. I must say I'm really really dissappointed with the eye candy. I know that's shallow but you'd think they'd have improved from the original. And the jaggies with no antialiasing.....my god. I'm praying the the PoE mod brings BF2 closer to GR or at least similar to JO. Here's hoping.

PoE has taken all night to download...looks like I won't be joining you guys unless the servers are down extra long.

Naa, nothing close to GR. It is much faster paced and more arcadey -- still has that BF2 feel to it. It's a fun game (no bias here

), but if you're looking for something close to GR then you'd be well advised to look elsewhere.

TacMod woulda brought you closer to what you're looking for.

Yeah so I'm pissed....

they've gotten rid of dolphin hopping in BF2...I used to OWN with that....

for those who don't know what that is....its a prone/jump combo that lets you jump through the air in prone position, making you accurate and harder to hit.

i think they should make it so that u cant surf in CSS.. thats 90% of the servers down the drain right there

Halt, dolphin diving on a TG server will get you taken out back and "dealt with". We still haven't even found the bodies of several players that thought they were highly intelliengent aquatic mammals after Bommando and Tempus "had a word with them."

You want your kill, you have to earn it.

Just like WoW.

Save your money. Better stuff is in the pipe:Archlord, NWN2 (maybe), Burning Crusade, Huxley, and more....GR:AW is pretty if you have the system that can run it though.

Hey....I was really good at BF2 before wow....I only dolphin dived against idiots who where being....idiots.

Yesterday, I was just prone/spray/pray.

Yeah we had a ton of fun last night. The Tac Mod game was more my pace, had more tactics involved and felt more organized, the PoE game just felt completely out of control, heck I couldn't even spawn for like 4 mins cause I was dead as soon as I spawned, couldn't even move.

Thanks to the TGers who played with us and showed some of us the ropes, been a while for most of us playing the game, and you guys were great.

Look forward to playing again!

Luna was so funny. I saw her get a warning to join a squad and I piped up "here comes Luna" 10 seconds later she popped in as Squad Leader, 'But.. But, No, I can't..."... Then ARRRRRG! I got disco'd from the server.. the rest of the night was a connection/punkbuster nightmare for me.

It was great fun seeing you guys.. please do it again sometime!
