36 hours of No WOW!
We will be performing hardware retrofits for the following realms as part of our long term realm performance improvement plans, and due to the requirements for implementing this new hardware we will be working through an extended maintenance schedule.
The maintenance for these realms is scheduled to begin at 12:01 AM PDT, Thursday September 7 and conclude at approximately 12:01 PM PDT, Friday September 8. Re: 36 hours of No WOW!
Actually fixing the problem is well worth the downtime. Hopefully this is what is happening.
Is Lego Star Wars II out yet?

Re: 36 hours of No WOW!
I have every intention of sitting down with Psychonauts and actually finishing it.
I made the sad mistake of buying it two days before i got WoW... poor game never had a chance.

Not if you have toons on another server!
Either that or I could just update my mods for BF2.

Re: 36 hours of No WOW!
Finally, a downtime that WORKS for me. I get the fine oportunity to visit Detroit Thursday. Unwillingly. Now it's not so bad.

Re: 36 hours of No WOW!
Yeah same here Chair, but it would be fun to try to put together a squad of WoW people and play, knowing we aren't very good and just want to have fun. I know I have haranged Luna into playing, I just need 2 or 3 more to make it official

Ya know Apo, I looked long and hard at this one. GR and JO are still very near and dear to my heart. I guess I'm reluctant because GRAW looks kind of arcadish to me. I tried BF2 briefly yesterday and was horrified by the utter lack any realism. Seems to me a dozen rounds from a .50 should stop someone???
Does GRAW have any resemblance to the realism and sheer joy that the original GR had? I so hate tac shooters that force me to empty half a clip into someones chest.

It's anything but arcadish when you're playing the OGR Co-Op. In fact, it's got a VERY similar feel to the original GR. We're quite excited about it now that they've got the dedicated server in this coming patch and we've been testing the beta server over the past week.
I have the same issues with BF2 as you, and I can tell you that GRAW will not disappoint.

Re: 36 hours of No WOW!
I will play BF2 tomorrow night!
Although, I am really looking forward to playing GRAW. Don't have it yet, though.
Chair, you'll fit in just fine! We'll all be terrible, so it'll be good times.
