Sorry for the double post, but I just thought of another thing.

Those of us in the midst of the pvp grind find it difficult to raid due to the fact that we need almost every bg pop to farm honor. Nowadays, the honor it takes to get to number 1 is in the 800k to 900k range. It takes about 150k to maintain rank. 150k is a lot; about 5 4-5 hour shifts. (for me anyway and that's in Halten's boat, losing 90% of all WSG and ABs)

If we had a designated PvP night where pvpers could farm honor in WSG and AB, that would cut that time requirement significantly, thus freeing up some nights to raid.

I <3 pvp, but I also <3 raiding with my homies. Unfortunately the pvp grind takes ALL your time, whereas raiding a portion of your gametime.

I have to say, one night per week designated as a PVP night would get me interested a whole lot in this idea. I rarely PVP because everytime I try I end up on my own and it's not much fun. An organized night of real, tactical PVP would be a shot in the arm for some of us.

The closer we get to one-night instances, the more this can become a viable option.

Well tonight i'm making a push for as much honor as i can get. With the servers being messed up i want to insure i'm in the top 5 for the week. I'm pretty sure i am now, but i want to solidify it. With that being said i will be trying to get a premade going for most of the day/night. If you are interested just send me a whisper on Insai and class balance permitting i'll try to get you in, til then happy hunting : )

Re: I am SO sick and tired of..

We have two nights this week with nothing planned it seems. Would be cool if these were filled with PvP, world bosses and the like.

IDEALLY, we'd have some kind of perpetual daily PvP signup that people could throw themselves into to identify their intentions.

When we have raids you'd simply stagger the start times (if u even have start times) to later then the raid start. Those people in PvP would basically be on standby for raid replacements (yet another reason for people who intend to leave to give ample notice). This way we kill two things with one stone and we dont have idle people just sitting around wondering what to do.

But, more importantly... the TACTICAL in tactical gamer is maintained by PvPin as a squad and not an individual. Do this, and gear, honor, and rep will come by the boatloads.

Remember also, this is NOT JUST FOR 60's... there are many lowbies who like to PvP and are stuck in PUGS most of the time. This would be a great way for them to link up and get a head start on the action... feeling a part of the guild. Actually signing up for a guild "sponsored" event.

I guess another way is simply a "PvP Signup" tab on the default website. That'd simply lead to a calendar log where people can input what and when they'd like to PvP.

Anyways, I think this is a great idea and yet another corner TG can turn in the game. I LOVE PvP, but only when I'm doin it with friends... kinda SUX hard in a strange group... worse then a dungeon-pug really
