So, um yeah.
Heading out tonight to get on WoW and make stabbies at Vael, I'm at an intersection and see a police cruiser in front of me. So I drive all nice and stuff, mind the speed limit (5mph under because of rain) and all that good what not.
Then, a minute later it lights up like a Christmas Tree. Nothing I haven't dealt with before at least once or seventeen times, but this time I'm genuinely confused!
Cop comes up, asks about drugs or alcohol (wtf?) and then says he's pulling me over because my registration expired. O_o. I tell him it's my father's car, perhaps he renewed it, just never got the sticker on. I dunno. I give him my license and registration. He says, "no problem, be right back."
Comes back 2 minutes later. "So, we seem to have a bit of a problem."
S***.
My first thought is my arrest warrant in NJ was never cleared (long story). But wait, I've been pulled over since then. Do I have another arrest warrant? WTF is happening?
"Your license has expired four months ago."
Son of a b*tch.
"You're gonna have to get the car towed, or find someone else that can drive it home."
Eff me.
"And I'm gonna have to give you a ticket."
DIAF, copper.
So anyhow, I wasn't able to get on tonight, and might not be on for a few days till I get my license renewed.
Good news? I don't have to go to work tomorrow!

LOL best "this can't possibly get any worse!" story ever!..only way it could be funnier is if the check to pay the ticket bounces.

I agree with Siulung.

Re: So, um yeah.
DMV is closed Mondays

Heading to it tomorrow before work, somehow. I called out today, because my aunt took my grandmother's car to NYC and I had no other way to get to work at 7AM. But I'm doing the mid tomorrow, so I can sneak my way to the DMV before work. Just gotta stay under the radar.
Was able to catch up on some good BSG today, though!

Re: So, um yeah.
Sorry to hear it Ark had a bad cop experience yesterday myself but it would take way to long to type out to explain.
