Re: Head of the BroodLord "Only One May Rise"
Last night after some discussion we figured that Haletma would end up basically getting most if not all of the useful Agents (people who are doing hives for CC rep and loot). He has like 15 deputizations available.
What we need is to know who in this guild is actively seeking CC Combat Badges for rep and/or loot. I've got every CC item personally which is how I got the carapaces I have (killed 2 birds with 1 stone). This way whoever gets the head can induct agents of value.
As for people willing to help.. that'd be insanely generous - killin bugs suxors! The best people for this IMO are the skinners, who can actually make some money off each bug and make useful armor from them. Any greens/blues the bugs give are just enough to cover your repair bills. Of course the other plus is you gain BoN rep once u get the head. In Hive Regal you can gain at least 2 rep per bug, sometimes 3 or more. (cut in half after u give half ur carapaces to the person that inducted u)
I'm sure now that this questline has been made visible though, more tier 1 people will be willing to investigate CC rep.
I think as extra incentive to grind bugs though, that the head should simply be made priority to those who have the most carapaces. This way you actually have a real REASON for people to be out there killing Bugs in the 1st place, otherwise all you've got is CC rep (which is a crapshoot dependant on your loot needs). One could conceive now that the Broodlord drops his head, that people will be willing to grind the carapaces for quest consideration. Make sense?

Ok, but if people are giving their carapaces to Hale, how will they have that consideration?

I shudder at the thought but if killing bugs gives me rep then I might be willing to help. I find the entire prospect of bug killing and rep grinding repulsive

Re: Head of the BroodLord "Only One May Rise"
Bug grinding 21000 bugs for each person who gets the head is totally unnecessary. Just wait till AQ40 and your brood rep will skyrocket.

Re: Head of the BroodLord "Only One May Rise"
Sajier to answer your question, I don't get all of the fragments people farm, I get half of what they farm. When Lunaar deputized me that is how he set it up and I've farm just over 5200 to date. That is 2600 for me and 2600 for Lunaar.

We could start working on first boss in AQ40.

Re: Head of the BroodLord "Only One May Rise"
It works if the people you deputize are interested in the questline. Because if they're interested, they're gonna kill bugs and give u half... giving u free rep until they themselves get the head... etc. I'd say you can get the first 30k rep just from bugs pretty easily if enough people were interested. If 10 people grinded 4000 carapaces that's basically to unfriendly right there for the 1st head-getter.
But yah... AQ40 is key. You know u dont have to tell me that... I've wanted to go in there the moment I turned 60.

Re: Head of the BroodLord "Only One May Rise"
The first boss doesn't require uber damage or healing. He's got relatively few hitpoints. It's just the trash is an idiot check. You have to know the abilities, and you have to know how to react to them. Every time you kill an anubisath, the remaining ones heal fully and gain the abilities of those that died. So by the time you're killing the fourth, it has four abilities and four magic reflections -- too much for the raid leader to call out. If you're not watching your own game, you're gonna get yourself killed or potentially wipe the raid. Much of AQ40 is alone the same vein: DPS/HPS is not an issue, but reactions and knowledge are the requisite abilities. It's not like any of the fights in MC, ZG or AQ20 at all, but you'll soon be experiencing a lot of that in BWL with Firemaw and Chromaggus. That's why I said originally when I was in TG that once we got Chromaggus down, we should take a trip in.

Q just hook up with me in next couple of days and I can get you deputized. I got some others deputized like Zelanna, Wintrow and Ciclonic. I have to finish stack I'm working on and can deputize you after that.
