Vondoom your list of groups looks like my favorite playlist. I listen to rock while I grind or farm. When we raid or group I don't play anything.

Actually that is buf'-fet ( a blow especially with the hand) as opposed to buf-fay (a counter for refreshments).

Its gotten to be a habit that I just don't want to kick, but I don't listen to music when playing anything. From FPS to RTS and now MMORPG the audio cues to your surroundings are just too important to me to give up on.
Its always great to hear footsteps behind you and spin around to put a bullet through someone's head through the door or wall and have them call you a hacker. Stealthy you are not if you use iron clad boots on metal deck plates.
When not gaming I have 'eccentric' tastes. From classical to pop, instrumentals to pure, folksongs to metal I usually just randomly pick some tunes and listen to them. Used to say I didn't like metal, but Dragonforce is pretty spiffy to listen to at times.My sanity is not in question...
It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.
Light, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I had to kill because they ticked me off.
