So what music do you guys listen to while playing? For me, it depends on the situation...
When PvPing...lately I'll put on Slayer-Dead skin mask. Whenever I pvp I listen to metal and try to line up charges, etc. with the music. Makes me feel like I'm making a PvP video or something :P.
During MC or so...I'll just turn on my master playlist which has every song on my computer...turn on shuffle and see what comes up.
BWL...trance on low volume so I can hear directions...
Skimpy post I know, but the forums are freakin dead :P.
Brought to you by General Mills... Ragnar-Os! The only cereal with the Molten Core!
BY FIBER BE PURGED!! TASTE THE FLAVORS OF SULFURON!
TWO SCOOPS, EXECUTUS! TWO SCOOPS
Depending on the mood I'm in I'll turn on the game music or turn it off. Generally I have it off and listen to my ipod through my headphones. I mentioned this setup in a previous post. I really like being able to control the two channels independently so I can easily lower the music for comms.
I have a ton of different stuff but the few things I find myself listening to alot while player are:
1. A few playlists I put together that include The Roots, Jay-Z, Mungal, Destroyer, Johnny Cash, The New Pornographers and other various stuff.
2. GnR
3. Soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian (great when soloing or raiding imo)

Gigan - Shaman (Resto)
Pistos - Semi-retired Shadowpriest
...and other distractions of various levels.
I generally play with no sounds at all and don't play with names on. So, if I see you in IF and don't wave, that is reason, I generally don't know who is who. HAHA.

Nice remark guys.

I DID say that I have a few playlists that include some of those artists, though in this particular case I do have "Big Pimpin'" by Jay-Z and "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash in the same playlist. By the way it also includes "Bitchin' Camaro" by the Dead Milkmen and "Common People" by the one and only Mr. William Shatner.

I can't say I listen to music while I'm playing, although I have changed my WoW music to the sounds of Final Fantasy. My musical preferences
would be...
Pink Floyd
Rush
Judas Priest
Van Halen
Iron Maiden
Yes
Led Zepplin
Kiss
Lynard Skynard
Bob Dylan
Waylon Jennings
and Jimmy Buffett. Although I don't listen to his music much, Johnny Cash is cool in my book too.
I don't suffer from insanity,
I enjoy every minute of it!
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
