Re: Comment here on the changes to your class in 2.1
Damn... clearly, I didn't read the patch notes very thoroughly. How embarrassing.

Priest nerf.... as usual. I'd be annoyed if it weren't so damned predictable.

Illumination will be fine. Spiritual Attunement will be fine.
There's no reason for paladins to end Malchezaar with 89% mana when a shadow priest was in their group. We still have the most mana-efficient single target heal in the game, even after the illumination nerf.

Re: Comment here on the changes to your class in 2.1
They've also recently buffed illumation back up to 60% on the PTR. So they are looking at it, and adjusting.
They've also made it so that one handed weapon specialization for paladins no longer increases "the damage you deal with one handed weapons by 5%", but rather "while weilding a one handed weapon, increases the damage you deal by 5%". Meaning bigger judgements, bigger consecrates, bigger holy shields..and more aggro from all those.
Regarding Mages:
IT's been announced that the frostbite will not share DR with frost nova..apparently it was a test, and, due to the feedback, outcry, and results of the shared cooldown, there will be two seperate DRs. One for the Frostbite proc, and one for the Frost Nova and WE's Freeze.
(and actually, probably a third...the new frost grenades's freeze, which i believe is seperate)
I'm still not excited about hypothermia, but with the seperate DR's, frost won't be dead...something that made me breath a sigh of relief.Currently Playing:
Age of Conan - Xercos (80 HoX), Miklos (57 ToS)
TF2 - Zarius
Occasionally Dabbling:
Natural Selection - |TG|ZariusZer0
Dystopia - |TG|ZariusZer0
BF 2142 - |TG|ZariusZer0
No Longer Playing:
WoW - Deleo

Re: Comment here on the changes to your class in 2.1
Eh. Nice, but unneeded. Too many points to throw away. Paladins should never have to itemize a lot of damage to tank. Their natural abilities make it possible if used properly.
On the other hand, what in the name of all that is good is up with a parsed 47% resist rate on Seal of Vengeance?!

Re: Comment here on the changes to your class in 2.1
Probably has something to do with the lack of spell hit on paladin gear and an abundance of spell crit. To my knowledge there are no holy resistant mobs so that's just a lack of spell hit overcoming natural defenses.
GG blizzard for itemization.
Since spell hit does nothing for healadins who sit back and heal while spell crit procs illumination more and makes tankadins crit their judgements more so I can see why they ignored it for the most part.My sanity is not in question...
It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.
Light, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I had to kill because they ticked me off.

Re: Comment here on the changes to your class in 2.1
I have spell hit on my gear, plenty of it on my "dps" set. But even still, 47% with a small amount of spellhit is only slightly ridiculous.
As far as crit on tanking gear, no smart tank paladin will EVER itemize spellcrit into their gear. Spell hit is 100 times more effective, but you should not throw any statpoints into that either if you plan on tanking anything real. It's all about removing crushing blows from the table. Paladins have natural abilities to generate high threat quickly. Mitigation is far and away more important.
