Re: TG squads..
The only problem is that squad leaders need a system to communicate with each other. You need atleast two squads to win at solar farm or oil field.

Re: TG squads..
I know this might sound a little bit retarted but!
What if you used the xbox chat as a direct feed for each of the commanders. The commander could go back and forth from xbox chat (which you can have up to 5 different chats going on including in game) then back to the squad chat
It would be hard but it would work.

Re: TG squads..
LOL i was thinking the same thing LOL. But it would be realy hard and not every one would be on the same chat chanel at the same time. I think the only way something like this would work is if the squad leaders had eachothers numbers and was on the phone with each other. A phone head set in one ear and a xbox one in the other ear. But no one will give out there numbers. ( and is it realy that serious)

Re: TG squads..
If your mouse or keyboard are within reach of your gaming chair, you could always run TeamSpeak on the PC - we can very easily setup a dedicated channel or two for Xbox SL's to communicate! headset for xbox and some other mic + speakers for the PC!

Re: TG squads..
I've never used teamspeak before, but that might work! What do you other 360 players think?

Re: TG squads..
just let me get this straight... I think I understand
So all we would do is "instead" of using xbox as our comm link we would have TeamSpeak as our communication between "all" units. How do we go about setting that up?
Do we just run a headset off our computers??? Cause that would work, and how many units can you run on one teamspeak channel?
Sorry for the Noob questions, just trying to understand...

Re: TG squads..
no limit on number of players in the channel... you can set the PC up to have a push to talk button, or you can just have it e voice acitivated. (although unless you're using headphones, you'll want push to talk - otherwise, everyone will hear everything that gets played over your speakers)

Re: TG squads..
Ideally though it would just be the SLs on teamspeak, right, because the regular squad can communicate using ingame VOIP. Plus I doubt every single person has a computer right next to them they can use.

Re: TG squads..
I say "lets Do It!"
So we need two squads of 4 or 6?
and two commanding officers with computers by their xbox!
Whos up for the job?
Just tell me what you want me to do and I I'll do it, im the front lines grunt!

see post above
but instead of having everyone in the one voip channel, just have the squad leaders
then use the ingame voip for the normal inside the squad talk
is this workable ?
if so you will be running two voip channels through xbox and no-one needs any other equipement (eg a PC)

Re: TG squads..
Unfortunately Silver, that won't work very well, especially not if there is more than 2 squads. When in private chat, you cannot communicate with anyone else, and going to the chat menu and switching channels, then waiting for the other person to do it as well, is very time and menu consuming.

Re: TG squads..
So far, the efforts that we have seen opposing us have not been sufficent to set up a more dedicated system than the chat pad communications between me and IO Dragone. If we have 6 in a server, we split up into groups of 3 +1 random guy and attack like that.
Since it's rare to have 2 squads communicating, when one squad would run into stiff resistance, the other squad would usually have an easier time attacking. After that squad took their assigned CP, 1 or 2 squaddies would come over to help the harder pressed squad.
When SL to SL VoIP comes online, I expect to have a harder time winning. Truthfully, I look forward to the stiffer competition.

Re: TG squads..
Yeah, after about 5 or so games of capping out the enemy team in under 5 minutes, they all start quitting. We have a tendency to break servers =)
All the enemy players thought they were gettin' the easy victory, bein on the cowardly Red Star, but boy do they get a nasty surprise.
