    Hey guys...

I'm a tg member from years ago...well maybe 2 years ago..Got hooked playing BF2 with this group....I couldn't keep the PC up to gaming standard and went to the console. I downloaded the demo for BF:bc and the memories came flying back and I said I needed to hook up with this group again. I have 1 or 2 of the TG guys on my friends list but if you guys get into this game let me know...it would be the only reason I buy it. It is definitely dumbed down for the idiots and the bf hitboxes from hell are in this game but there was a feeling of possible team work and some old bf2 feelings were stirred....

anyways...Gamertag Fishstick...If you guys are playing frontline let me know I can pick that one up too.

    Re: Battlefield Bad Company

The first feature I liked was the "shoot to spot" thing. No longer do you have to use a com rose to point out enemies; all you have to do is shoot them and they'll appear on your minimap.

However, after playing for two days I noticed something quite depressing. There was no real teamwork on multiplayer. You could sometimes coax your squad into spawning on you before you plant a charge on a gold crate, but otherwise you were pretty much on your own unless you stalked someone.

Speaking of the squads, in free multiplayer action you got a random squad. You could spawn on one living squad member, which alternates as they die. What this means is that you can have a sniper at your base who never dies, and have a completely wasted spawn point.

Much to my own disappointment, I started building a habit of not turning when I was being shot from behind. Compared to a mouse, I was almost always dead before I could do a 180 degree turn.

Single player was fun, but also really, really easy on normal mode. You could complete 90% of the single player campaign using nothing but a knife and auto-injector (100% health instantly). Enemy AI always took out a knife when you get close; and they don't one hit kill like you do.

All in all, Bad Company is a good game. It won't be replacing 2142 or any other FPS I have, but I won't let it gather dust either. Because it only has a single multiplayer game mode, I'll be treating it more as an expansion pack to play when I want something different.

My gamertag is Draem. Feel free to contact me, but be warned I still suck at BFBC.

I played the demo and was sorely disappointed. I hated this game compared to BF2, etc. Ugh. That and I agree with the "12 year old on my own team who ran me over" comment.

Agreed....I really can't imagine how anyone who's experienced TG BF2 in some flavor or another can possibly play this for more than a few minutes :-/

    I love it. Mostly...

I'm not heavily experienced in BF2 @ TG, but I played for a while way back when... that said, I found a couple things that bugged me, mostly communication and team-wise, but the game itself is just too much fun. It hurts to leave for work every week, leaving that game to collect dust

    Re: Battlefield Bad Company

BattleField Bad Company is failure compared to BattleField 2

    1. BattleField 2 is made for online playing.
    2. BattleField 2 players have said that they won't go over to any other game.
    3. BattleField 2 doesn't got any single player mission mode.
    4. BattleField 2 is still going strong after 3 years in combat with CoD 3-4

    1. Bad Company got good graphics.
    2. Bad Company got a single player mission mode.
    3. Bad Company gets worse rating than BattleField 2 on almost every big game site.
    4. Bad Company is made for destruction (almost everything can be destroyed) this is told by one of the game designers.

This is only some issues from both sides of BattleField.
