Yes, you will need to queue movies online in your Netflix account to access them on your Xbox 360. The feature is more an extension of Netflix than anything else. You can browse the queue itself via your dashboard.

? You can browse the queue itself via your dashboard but have to go to your PC to make the actual movie selection? The last sentence of your reply has me confused.

I just realized how many of you commented on this particular subject. That means you look at the 360 forums. Therefore, I can also assume that you have 360's. WHY DON'T YOU ALL PLAY MORE?!

I am unable to use the controllers as I am too spoiled by the precision that I get from my mouse and keyboard...plus my wife usually has control of the big TV where the 360 resides, so she would just throw me out anyways! hahahahah

You select the movies you want to access on Netflix's website. Once in your queue, you can watch them using your Xbox 360. In other words, you only have access to the particular movies in your queue and not the whole Netflix library via the dashboard. So, if you load up four movies and watch all of them on your Xbox 360, you will need to go to the Netflix website to select additional titles.

You Just described the EXACT reason why I haven't gotten a 360 yet... I guess I am not alone in the world.... ;-)

    Because I SUCK! Seriously!

I should play more but AoC occupies what little time I have. My son plays it the most on the weekends.. 360 players are welcomed to msg my nick and find out if it is me or him.. and if you want to skool my boy - go for it. He's a good gamer, but young - so patience is required. He's played Battleracer and D&DO on the PC successfully with TG folk..

Well, we are few days out until the new Live. Have not been really been able to find any details about the NetFlix options. NetFlix does not have anything on their site. Anyone know if you can have a physical copy out and still use the Live service?

Re: Movies, Us and Our Xbox 360

Got the update this morning and have been playing around with the NetFlix section. Easy to use and easy setup via your NetFlix account. You will be prompted as you go into the NetFlix section, given a code, then to your NetFlix account via your PC and your ready to go.

I like the fact that you can watch as many movies as you wish. Simply put them in your Queue and your good to go. I believe you can also order your CD's and still watch instantly (gotta try that).

I know the service is new, but:

1)They need alot more titles. Is it 10,000? Maybe I'm in the wrong section but are there 10,000?
2)HD. Most of the titles are like watching on VHS.
3)Ability to select movies in your Queue on the 360.

It's a great service and will only improve. Also nice that you don't have to pay anything additional to stream the movies and no extra hardware.

Re: Movies, Us and Our Xbox 360

Over the last couple days I've watched a ton of movies (from Aliens to Leaving Las Vegas plus everything in between). I see a huge potential for this service it's going to be great once they iron out all the kinks. The main issue for me is the picture quality which will vary widely depending on your connection speed. I don't what it is but from around 5PM to 10:30PM I seem to be getting horrible connection speed. The Live checks the connection and varies the picture based on the speed. Sometimes it's great other times it's not.
