Xbox Update coming soon?
From Major Nelsons blog;
Xbox Live Service Maintenance
On Monday, 9/29/2008 from 12:01 AM PST for up to 24 hours, Xbox Live will be offline for maintenance. As a result, Xbox LIVE and the ‘My Xbox’ section of Xbox.com will be unavailable, and the Xbox forums will be in read only mode (you won’t be able to post.) The remainder of Xbox.com will be available with limited interruptions.
This service maintenance is in preparation for the new Xbox experience which will be available later this fall.
Let me reiterate: When the service returns, you will not have any new features and you will not have the new Xbox experience update. That will happen later this Fall.
As usual, I’ll make a post and update my Twitter when the service returns.
So, it looks like we won't get the new experience next week, but it's coming!|TG|Clodhopper - Intelligence is the key, but I'm locked out!

One day without Xbox LIVE seems reasonable for the amount of content in the next update. I can’t remember the last time it has been down for an extended period of time, which is more than I can say for similar services like GameSpy or EA’s Master Server.

TeamXbox.com posted an interesting simulator of the planned update.
I actually like the slicker look and think the group feature will be a great addition to Xbox LIVE.

I stumbled upon a nice demostration of the new feature that allows you to install games on your hard drive. It compares sound levels between installed games and those run using the disc drive.
I'm excited about this, but it looks like I'll have to upgrade to a larger hard drive.

On xbox live it shows you a video of the new features it will go out worldwide Nov 19 Im most lookin forward to the netflix support! + much much more I cant wait.
