Same thing with RE4, I couldn't move and shoot. That pisses me off to no end. If you're a professional zombie hunter, you'd think that you could run and shoot at the same time. Giant what the ****.

    Re: RE5 Demo out today

Personally I love the demo and can't wait for the full game. I understand why people would not like the no moving while shooting. All I can offer is an excuse - Like Metal Gear Solid 4 (which you can shoot and move) I think the small things like can't shoot and move are in place to differentiate the game from FPS's. They don't want you running and gunning. MGS4 is similar in that the game makes it hard for you to blast through it in first person (which its easier to aim). Now I used to swear that Dead Space was the same game engine as RE4 but now I see and know I'm wrong.

Ok enough with the bad now for some good. RE5 does have all the charm of RE4 (one of the best games of all time - no need to argue it won awards) plus the added bonus of coop. But its forced coop like L4D. If you get seperated from your partner and ONE of you dies you both must start from the last checkpoint. Unlike Halo and L4D where you will just spawn at the next point if whoever is left can hack it alone. Even the demo gives you that great 'Back to Back' fighting style. Forces communication to solve your problem whether your being overwelmed or running out of ammo. Beating the demo did teach me and some of my parnters where to be and when. This is then pasted through communication while playing with others making the amount of retries decrease. In all its going to be a great game and a great challenge. I hope some more people have positive things to say.

    My Resident Evil resume

Resident Evil - played and beat on PS1 with Chris Redfield, never finished as Jill Valentine - own for GC
Resident Evil 2- played and beat on PS1 with Leon - never played second disc (Claire Redfield) + never played 3rd part if you beat both discs - own for GC
Resident Evil 3: Nemisis - beat on PS1 with Jill Valentine - no longer own
Resident Evil: Code Veronica - played on PS2 never finished was very good and last version of RE that played like originals - own for PS2
Resident Evil: Dead Aim - its a Guncon game like Time Crisis, never beat end guy (couldn't find special ammo never bothered) - own for PS2
Resident Evil 4 - Beat with Leon + 5 stared all Mercenary missions with all characters, First RE with new style and storyline outside Umbrella - Own for GC
Resident Evil 5 - Can't wait - Sticking with the new RE4 style - beat demo

Really, the ONLY thing that's holding me back from that game is the ability to not move and shoot. I LOVE the game, it looks fantastic, runs fantastic, etc. It's just, who in their right mind wouldn't move and shoot at the same time.

I didn't like the demo because the controls were not developed for the controller and not like being stuck while shooting, I would rather like to move when I am shooting at zombies.

Game's out, I like the direction they took with RE5 - I am pissed off that they are charging $5 for "DLC" which is just some 2v2 online Versus mode that should have been packaged with the original game.
