A - Ailerons neutral. Many pilots will attempt to recover from the spin using the ailerons. This may actually make the problem worse.

R - Apply full opposite rudder. Apply rudder opposite the rotation of the spin. If you have trouble determining which way the airplane is spinning, look at your turn coordinator or turn needle. It will indicate the direction of rotation.

E - Apply forward elevator. Immediately after applying opposite rudder, apply a quick forward motion on the control yoke and hold anti-spin controls until the aircraft starts to recover.

D - Recover from the dive. Once you have completed the four previous steps, and the rotation stops, recover from the dive. The descent rate may be over 5000 feet per minute and the airspeed will rapidly exceed redline. Remember to neutralize the rudder after the rotation stops.

Remember, stalls and spins can happen from any airspeed and/or attitude. Often they occur at low altitude. Then prevention is the best practice. Altitude is your friend.
I wish the game itself was this informative.

Unfortunately, I'm not all acquainted with this fancyspeak for the terms.

    P-Idle = 0%, correct?
A-Ailerons, as in the flaps to control rolling left/right, correct?
    R-Yaw opposite of the spin
E-Apply forward elevator? In plain english would that be 'pull up', or what?
D-Pull up and level the aircraft to recover.

All correct except E.... push forward on the stick (make the nose go down).

Also when recovering make sure you have a bit of airspeed as you could pull right back into another stall. This is why altitude is so important.

Does pushing the nose down help as kind of like tapping the gas to straighten out (without physically using power, obviously)?

    Thanks for the help.

You are correct. It regains the energy you lost when you entered the stall. I've noticed in this game, just trying to recover by letting pressure off the yoke, I'm still falling, thus I do a push on the yoke below the horizon to gain energy, thus increasing lift, and I'm able to ease back into normal flight. If you do this too low or wait to long to start recovery procedures, you will crash.

Good to know, thanks for the help. I'll have to check in to how well I can afford a decent joystick and how much I can really get in to the game.
