Re: So, I got an XBox 360 for Christmas
There is a separate, first party, cable you can buy that goes from the 360 to VGA, and if you have only a DVI connection, then you have to buy a VGA to DVI adapter. So yes I'm pretty sure you can. The VGA cables go for something like $30-$40, which is significantly less than your proposed $200.
One thing to note: If your monitor has a 4:3 aspect ratio (not widescreen), there may be problems (namely stretching vertically and black bars on top and bottom) with selecting a widscreen display mode, on specific titles.Last edited by PhoenixxFire; 01-02-2007 at 09:21 PM. Reason: typos

Re: So, I got an XBox 360 for Christmas
Now while I don't have a 360. I recommend Gears of War (waiting on the PC version here.) and definately get Vegas on the 360.
Also I completely agree with Fenix return LOTR. If you really want to play it get it for the computer. (Otherwise skip it and get DOW or/and Company of Heroes.)RX-78-2 Gundam EFSF Protoype Close Combat Mobile Suit Armor: Luna Titanium Armament: 2x Beam Sabers, 2x 60mm Head vulcan guns 380mm Hyper bazooka, Beam Rifle, Beam Javelin, Hyper Hammer, Gundam Hammer, shield
