A new study confirms that moderate gaming is good for mental health.

Jane McGonigal and Edward Castronova's Exodus to the Virtual World (Palgrave, 2007) suggests that video games "help us tap into the most motivated, most ambitious, most social and most collaborative versions of ourselves."

"We now know, from a growing body of scientific research, exactly what a reasonable limit would be. To get the most positive impact from games, we should play no more than 21 to 28 hours a week."
