YouTube, along with most video archives, has a terrible interface vis a vis video curating. I am rebuilding my web site and using it to organize the hundreds of videos I have uploaded to the Net over the years.

I am building the archive using Joomla as a content management system, with Rockettheme template.

My goal is easy navigation, uncluttered screens (I hate the current trend in throwing everything up on a front page...), and minimal text. I want the videos to speak for themselves.

The hard part will be to keep the categorization (menus sections) sufficiently granular but logical so things can be found rather intuitively, without too many layers of submenus, or too many subject categories.
