Over the past ten years I have taught 9 different subjects at the University of Ottawa, a total of 48 courses, and one of my favourites is Advertising Techniques (and wouldn't ya know it, but years ago I wrote a book about advertising...).

For the most part, as is well known, the advertising industry produces boring mediocre garbage.

Every so often an ad comes along that breaks the mould.

Here is one that just kept me watching. It perfectly captures the culture of online gaming and speaks to multiple audiences while using the fan-based form of machinima.
