I approach teaching as a form of performance art. In class I play with my identity (as I do here at TG). I use costumes to misdirect and redirect my student's thinking. I use visuals, YouTube, television shows, advertisements and home videos because they are there, waiting to be used.

I work to make my student's uncomfortable with the world-as-it-is and see the choices that have been placed before them.
