Tactical Take-Over Events; A big step in the right direction for PR: ArmA

Rate this Entry
TG ArmA admin team may have found a very practical and promising solution to improve organization and teamwork in PR: ArmA.

I havent joined yet but judging by the comments, this seems to be working out very nice.

Visit PR: ArmA forums for more info. See you at the main base

Detailed events takes a lot of time to prepare and un-planned casual play is a hit and miss depending on who is on the server. TT events seem to be right balance between these two. It's been a while I stopped playing PR: Arma. The biggest reason was the lack of organization. Rubber banding was another. I also had a very old hardware. People say patch solved rubber banding. I also upgraded my machine. This looks like to be a great time to re-visit PR: ArmA. I hope events are also organized during euro-friendly times. I will let my 1stMIP buddies know about this as well.

This looks like to be another case of "build it and they will come" magic of TG. Kudos to planners and organizers. Looking forward to joining you all.

Cheers.

    Hi John,

just to let you know I'm keeping an eye on the MIP, not having forgotten in any way the great games of the past. Currently I don't own any of the games you guys are playing because I think they are bad games (bf3) or haven't proven themselves yet (ARMAPR).

If either people start modding bf3, or the interface and population on PRARMA improves, I will buy the games and then hopefully play with you guys again.

I haven't had games as immersive and fun since you left TBH, you were the best SL I have ever played with by a giant leap!

Oh I forgot to add, you are always welcome to join me (i.e. when I'm back for India) and coridon some day in red orchestra 2. Although the game is not very finished yet, it is the title I most believe in as offering what the community needs to establish true TG gameplay.

It is only game in the last years that offers some innovation to the old formulas, AND keeps most of the features we loved in the past (command structure with integrated voip channels).
