    I've updated our server after build 238 to use the latest version of DAK. Thanks to folks who tested tonight (lots of thanks, actually).

    - AFK Kicker is fixed. I've set it to two minutes. Timer starts after your join effort is complete.
    - The 90-second pre-game is now 70 seconds (might lower it more; let me know AFTER you've played some games). It begins only after both teams have a commander. Commanders can be ejected during this countdown. The countdown messages stop printing if a commander hops out during the countdown, but the countdown continues, and the game will start in time once both teams again have commanders (waiting on DAK to fix the missing messages in this "COMM hops out during pre-game" scenario).
    - Admin chat via "@" is broken, but sv_chat still works in console (we're working on this)
    - SM chat via "#" is broken, but sv_smchat still works in console (we're working on this)

    Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

    I probably speak for many when I say that the AFK kicker is greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work.

      It was fun helping out with testing and getting a good chance to see some of the new build features between trying to break our plugins. I almost felt a little bad for the people I kicked from the main server when typing retry to rejoin the test server. For some reason it connected me to main, even though I had never been on it in that session :D Though I don't even know if reserved slots were working at the time anyways.

          Rejoin has always seemed broken, never go to the only server I play on 0_o

          On a good note I love no start w/o comm. Starting w/o a comm is a waste of both teams time.

          I am interested in the shotty changes and testing them out. It is you 1 shot them or only do 22 dmg
