  • NS2 Server Monitor desktop app

    Hey everyone.

I created a lightweight server monitor app last November and I usually have it running on another monitor while I'm on NS2. It lets me see the full player count including people that are joining. I realize the site has a decent server monitor built in, but mine offers significantly different functionality so I'd like to share it with you all in case someone is interested.

What you see is what you get, except one thing. When you click on the blue "Host:" text, you get a menu showing recent servers so you can easily switch it between Taunt, Chuckle, or any other server you care about.

Download (designed for Windows, requires .NET 4.0, but probably also runs fine with mono on linux)

    New in Version 1.2:

Disconnected players now appear at the bottom of the player list in red, showing the time since they were last seen. This should help when someone disappears from the server but you can't remember who it was. Note: A player who has changed names will also appear as if they've disconnected, but there is nothing I can do about that since there is no other unique ID available to work with besides the name.

The links above have been broken since Dropbox changed the public link system. I'll attach it here and include a fresh link to dropbox...
