  • Counter Strike: Source

I know there is a CS forum, but doubt to many from NS look at it. So this is a simple question.

Just want to know how many would want to play Counter Strike: Source on a TG server, or simple would be interested in playing it regardless if it would be TG or not.

    Yes/No answer would be fine.

      Re: Counter Strike: Source

They have some serious work to do on the gameplay side of CS before I would even consider playing. I don't care if every last one of you stop playing NS and start playing CS:S, do NOT expect to see me there. I'll be waiting here for you to come back to your senses. :P

        Re: Counter Strike: Source

I have no interest in CS gameplay.

Turb, there are people within TG who wish to play CS. If you post this in the CS forum, the thread may get more attention than you think.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

I'll definitely be playing it on Source when it comes out, especially if HL2 doesn't come included with any other online play.

You know I just played an hour of cs on a good server that I found and it is actually fun now.I got like a score of 38/21 and I was having a lot of fun.But of course good things dont last. Some guy named "glitch" came in with hacks and just pwned us all.So I may play cs:s im still undecided.

How many of the people that said they don't like CS gameplay have played Counter Strike here?

Well, see... At TG the time limits for the rounds were longer. The teamwork was great. Objectives were actually the goal (instead of just team deathmatch like on pubs). And we didn't have any hackers (except Zebra).

                      Re: Counter Strike: Source

I played CS a lot. The gameplay is very repetitive and don't even start me on the people that play it. NS every game is different and it lasts at least 10-40 minutes so you can really get into it. If CS lasts that long its usually becuase of a " L4M3 C4P3|2 NU|3" as they so aptly put it.

Before you judge cs as a hole you should try playing on a tg cs server.I played on tg cs server a few times and it is quite fun.A friendly enviorment and good players that arent retards....So maybe we should get the cs server up for a day or two over the weekends and have a few good games.

                            Re: Counter Strike: Source

NS is repetative sure, but there are always some NEW things that pop in occasionally thanks to its strategy elements. Compare CS repetative to NS repetative though...OMG were sieging the hive with 2 fades encircling us as we fight for our lives with shotguns, commander and teammates yelling over the voice comm in a frantic race to build things is >>>>>>>>> than >>>>>>>>>> OMG THEY RUSHED B!?!?!?! I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH STRATEGY! *cs nub dies of excitement*

                            NS >>>> CS
CS is fun though, I wouldnt mind playing it here with you guys...might be more interesting.
