I don't know if anyone has heard about this engine or not (did a search in the forums but no results) but I though that a lot, and I mean A LOT of people here would be really interested in it. I for for one was utterly speechless when I came across it.

"3D planetary engine for seamless planet rendering from space down to the surface. Can use arbitrary resolution of elevation data, refining it to centimeter resolution using fractal algorithms.

Unlimited visibility, progressive download of data, procedural content generation.

Integrated vehicle and aircraft physics engines. Embedded web browser for web service integration."

This engine is beyond cool, imagine playing an Arma, or PR style game in this engine? On this scale?!! It gets better, apparently the finished version will have destructible terrain! And later on a dev mentions they would add a world generator.

In this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_BJLfq1ntI He shows how easy it is to make roads. Imagine the custom map capabilities!

This is easily the coolest thing I have seen in a while, it just offers so much. I would love to see Arma3 or something made in this.

Wow, that's incredible! This video is pretty great as well - all the way from space down to the ground then back again.

Major combat simulator developers have been approached and are being given the oppurtunity to try the engine.

Here is another teaser of the epic awesomeness of this engine.
