  • Mora Clipper

Another thread got me thinking and I figured I would ask about this particular knife. Pretty inexpensive but it gets great reviews. I want to get something I can beat on and not worry about breaking. I have my Gerbers, but I would rather use them just for backpacking/camping and practice with something reliable and inexpensive.

I suppose I should just get one since they are under 15 bucks anyway, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Bit late, but: Mora Clippers are really good knives, great for the money. I like the Eriksson variety of Moras the best (better handles for my hand, and the tang is more substantial, though I've never broken any mora.) Regardless, the Clipper has a huge following for good reasons, too. You can't go wrong.

Hey that's swedish! Makes me proud. You know a model similar to this was standard issue for every soldier during their military service (värnplikt) At least I think it was, my memory is a bit fuzzy after six years... I mostly remember the explosions :)
