  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution

It's an amazing game. I just spent Sunday evening putting 5+ hours in this game and I am hooked.

    - intriguing storytelling and buildup (think system shock2)
    - excellent cyberpunk setting and backdrop (reminds me of x-men, only man-made)
    - just the right amount of RPG elements (augmentation unlock paths)
    - choose stealth or fps approach (not a boring shooter, you can go splinter cell if you want)
    - nice graphics

Here is the Ars Technica review: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/review...revolution.ars
And the DXHR page on metacritic (currently 89/100 points): http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/de...man-revolution

I was planning on waiting for the first Steam sale but I got it from getgamesgo.com (affiliated with Eurogamer) which is offering it for $36 right now:

You get a key to activate and download on Steam.

    Highly recommended.

      It's one of the best game's I've played in a long time. I give it a 95/100.

Really enjoy it. Only thing that bothers me is the lack of storage for your character and the push towards non-lethal combat.

No way, an immersive single-player story only.

Having a good time with it as well. My only complaint is I wish it were a bit more sand-boxy. Once you've completed certain areas, you can't go back for additional exploration or purchase equipment you couldn't afford or originally passed on the first time around.

Loved the original way way back. Was not sold on this one, it just looked plainer, a little dumbed down, but if you guys say its good, then I might have to go fetch!

                  Any artillery or mortars?

I deserve a ribbon for Mortar Specialist

                  Artillery conquers and infantry occupies.
