    Re: Teamstacking

    Nice analogy.

But wouldn't a better one be: A bunch of friends playing non-pro street hockey with one team winning 9-0 six times in a row?

    Just sayin' ;)

hahaha, well, the B's have won 23 of their last 26 games... so that way works too :icon_lol:

really though, just had to gloat about that game last night... First time I've ever felt a hint of empathy for professional athletes... must have been demoralizing for the Flames players.

Flames is a sad, sad hockey organization. From the top down. Only exception is Jarome Iginla. Poor guy has given the Flames his all and yet the team surrounding him is mediocre at best.

They had a handfull of guys out last night too (injuries).

Heh, the Boston TV guys were saying he was probably happy to NOT score his 500th in that debacle of a game (better having that life-long memory of a goal being one that actually matters.)

            Re: Teamstacking

In that kind of a game, there were no positives for the Flames. Injuries are an old excuse. If you don't have the depth to overcome that kind of adversity, then there is something wrong.

That was the last night of a seven game road trip for the Flames. Calgary hosted the World Juniors which Sweden won so their arena was tied up for a couple of weeks. That will take the wind out of any teams sails.

oh yeah and Boston is that good.
