  • Attack site?

I have been visiting this site for a couple years, but a couple days ago Firefox started giving me a warning that this is an "attack site", every time I go to it? Any idea what this is about? How do I permanently convince my Firefox that it isnt?

    Re: Attack site?

I kept getting the attack site thing on Firefox last week and now it's just fine. I don't know what made Firefox change its mind.

Wicks explained it was a banner ad causing it. They got it straightened out quickly and no harm was done.

Another problem ad must have made it back into the rotation.

I don't think its an AD, It could be whatever or whoever decide whats "bad" is messed up.

                  Re: Attack site?

It can also be an attachment someone added to a post.

Basically, if your site has or is linked to any 'malicious' material it will eventually show up on these lists.

Its a real pain for sites like TG where the majority of content is community generated.

                    Re: Attack site?

I'm still experiencing this. Minor inconvenience for me with extra button clicks but surely bad for TG as a whole with getting in new blood?

No script with firefox or adblocker another add on for firefox can help alleviate this problem.
