  • Mrs. Damonte gets her US Citizenship

Those of you who know me also know that my wife, affectionately known as Mrs. Damonte, is from the country of Guatemala.

Tomorrow, Friday, she attends her Oath Ceremony where she is being granted US Citizenship. We have gone through the entire process of application for Permanent Resident, waiting the minimum three years and now the US Citizenship process draws to a close.

I'm not looking to create debate, this is not the Sandbox. However, I thought I'd share our joy at working through the process and achieving our goal. We did it on our own, without legal representation, and it was one of the most interesting experiences of our lives.

Cheers from Mr. & Mrs. Damonte!

Congrats Mrs. Damonte!!! I think she needs to cook dinner for us all to celebrate (and maybe give my wife some tips). Thank goodness TeamSpeak does not have a smell function, I'da reached through my headset to snatch Damonte's food from him.

It's never easy to go through such applications, specially without any assistance from immigration lawyers. It's a tremendous and arduous task anyone could go through.

My heartfelt congratulations and welcome to the United States of America! Mrs. Damonte.
