  • MGS4 Video

I would buy a PS3 just to play a MGS game. Check out the new video.

Grr... I couldn't open it with BSplayer, so I have to take a minute extra to open it with WMP. I will report thereafter.

And old Snake is still badass.

That was awesome. Still, to use a term founded by PA, it's bullshot and I want the real thing.

Still, was badass none the less.

I definitely want some in game footage but that was pretty good. I got a kick out of the cell references. Who do you guys think is the best MGS boss? I loved stalking TheEnd in the woods.

I saw that last weekend. Oh boy was it instagasmic. I LOVE what the MGS makers do with the videos they release. Not just in quality, but the more humored aspect to it - FPS mocking in that one, etc.

For example (one of my favorite videos, actually):
            Metal Gear Solid 4 Teaser
Click the only movie under the "Exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 Movies" menu.

WOW, that was sweet, I think I will definatly be looking at a PS3 to go with my 360 if that a few other games turn out good. Kinda want to get a PS2 to play that fairly new MGS, the one in the jungle, that looks so sweet.

                  That was nice CG.

MGS 3 was great. Can't wait for more on PS3 and MGS4.

                    Re: MGS4 Video

It was a nice-looking trailer, though a bit boring. I expected a little more drama than Snake clocking one guy and then hiding in a building for 6 minutes. I didn't follow a lot of the intracacies, since the last MG game I played was the second one for NES, but it still looks interesting.

Do you think that was CG? I makes fun of CG in the vidoe so I dont think they would of made it CG.

it makes fun of prerendered cg screens. That was most likely CG that was cut with some video styling. I don't believe there is a playable dev PS3 yet is there?

True, I just didn't think it looked much better then MGS3. Didn't even think about the dev kits not being out yet.

Isn't that how the games go though?

You take out one enemy, hide him, and then hide for a long period of time...

                            Then repeat :row__572:

actually the hiding part becomes sought after, once you've realized that being spotted and assaulted usually ends your day on a bad note. I much prefer to strangle them innocently rather than shootout with 10 of them. :P
