  • TG Timeline

I think it would be a nice idea to compose a timeline of TG's history.

We have lots of new members now who have missed out on many a GG so we could write down our history so we can tell them (and remind ourselves) about everything that has happened to this community.

    Things and dates to include:
N42, XLII, dMw, name change to TG, rise and fall of N42 LLC, release of tactical conflict/blog etc.

release dates of games that have been big here:
That old Q2 mod (name?), HL, CS (beta, alpha, CSS), GR, RS, NS, HL2, BF2 any others?

Any other things? The TG bash(s), a hall of fame for departed members...

Anyone have a link to the archives of the site?
Does anyone know any of the above dates?

I have all of those dates and associated info! I agree. It would be good for some folks to realize just how old Tactical Gamer is and the entire history of the community.

It would be great to see that. I know some of us are terribly interested in getting up to speed on the history and traditions.

Forgot about tactical wiki. It is ideal for something like this. There is already a start on this subject there

It seems that 9 July 2001 17:31 was the date that TG as we know it gained self awareness... Oh no that was skynet.
