    Hello all,

I have just found this game FOXHOLE through Steam. Currently, free on Pre-Alpha stage. Also, it has very minimum of minimum requirements to play this title.

Foxhole is a massively multiplayer game where you will work with hundreds of players to shape the outcome of a persistent online war. This is the ultimate game of collaborative strategy and tactics. Every action you take can have a powerful effect across a world in a state of war.
It looks like it would be more interesting and fun. To play as a large group. Pooling our large player base to check this title out.

If anyone have an interest to check it out, feel free to message me or reply on this thread so that we can organise a casual server raid or a more organised one.

Looking forward to the massive TacticalGamer power to overwhelm our virtual enemy together.

I played a couple of hours of this a month or so back. It's an interesting concept for sure and is already very playable given it's early stage. The game-play definitely lends itself to a certain level of team-play, the front-line based flashpoints definitely require organisation to push forward on as a small number of defending troops with decent emplacements will make short work of lone infantry. Although I did find that this tends to lead to a zerg rushing blob centred on choke points and objectives, at least it enforces a level of team-wide cooperation.

The logistics system and more specialised combat add a bit of depth that would be nice to see expanded upon and there is certainly decent potential to be a solid squad based shooter. The top-down angle coupled with the fog of war mechanic is an interesting aspect.

Anecdotally I found the community in-game to be pretty good, I ran across a couple of groups using in-game VOIP fairly effectively which was encouraging. The mechanics can be fairly well understood from the youtube video linked from the main menu so its easy enough to jump into.

Overall I was impressed by Foxhole and I'd certainly enjoy jumping into a TG squad if we can get one going.

There were a few things that need to get added. One is when you make a vehicle, they need to add a few more options. Instead of locking the vehicle so people cannot put items or you cannot put items into the vehicle, and not have people jump into the back. They should make it so if you have it locked you can put items into it and you can enter it and such but have it locked to everyone. Another good thing is to have your name on the side of the truck of vehicle so that people can see whose vehicle it is. Or if it was given to the squad, it has a squad name on it. Also make it so that if the enemy team is looking at the vehicle it looks like a regular truck, no names or squad names are on it. Also, have a hidden compartment for the fuel that the user of the truck or vehicle can access. Iíve had so many people from my own team take all the fuel out of my truck and put it in theirs then take off. I know it is early access and everything. Iím about to add this to their forums so they can get something like that added so less people troll the game. Iím always about logistics, I played for about 10 hours yesterday bringing new weapons, ammo, medical supplies, bmats (basic materials), fuel, and troops to the front lines. Iíve also taxi people from main base to the vehicle bay so they can make their own truck or tank and such, and when someone just disrupts that itís kind of a pain to deal with because they not just making my game a bad experience, but everyone who needs stuff. Plus, I believe the devs frown on that kind of behavior but the penalty system doesnít really stop them.

So John Flenaly, Centron, Socomseal, and I were running an awesome squad together. First we did a Mortar party and were doing some serious damage, but we didn't have the infantry support to push in. After that we did some infantry groups and were able to have some fun with that. We also had one guy join us too to make a good fireteam. [Nr.2] Danny was his name, hopefully we will see him and his friends in the battlefield again.

Do we have a Discord channel or somewhere we can meet for Foxhole? I know a few of the TG Planetside guys are also playing. A coordinated time and server meetup would be fantastic.

Been absent from TG stuff for a while, but got a few hours in this game with some buddies and we really like it. Saw some of you guys on my friends list playing, we'd love to join up with some of you folks on a server sometime. We should be playing tonight.

I bought foxhole recently and I really like it. Its like Squad and Company of Heroes had a crossover. I hope to join fellow TGers in battle.
