  • Happy 1st Birthday Military Channel...

One year ago, (Jan. 10th 2005) the Military Channel went live... Besides the news that is about the only channel I watch... and it's on about 12 hours a day here at my home...

IMO the best TV ever produced... It's usually a digital channel only, you can check out the web site here:

    http://military.discovery.com/

Just Wondering... anyone outside the US get this channel, or is it exclusive to the US of A?

I get it and watch it often. It has just always been intresting to me to watch the stratigies done in real life. I get it on comcast.

I watch military all the time. It used to be the "WINGS" or aviation channel, then they just switched it to the military name.

I have to say though, that channel has some of the studpidest, most low quality crappy product commercial advertisements ever. It's like watching TV at 3am, except its 3pm.

That channel & the Discovery/Times channel are awesome. Unfortunately, the university denied by grant request for Direct TV. It's educational! C'mon!

EDIT: Oh yeah, History International has some pretty cool programming too.
