My borther in law is getting his PhD in Quantum Information Systems. He sent me one of his published papers once. It was all about how to measure certain things about a quantum system. Needless to say, I was semi ok in the brief abstract part of the paper, but beyond that, completely lost. oi.
Any link to something good on chemical quantum computing? I've seen some articles on chemical reactions that solve mathematical problems. But never something on quantum chemical reactions? Aren't things at a chemical level too big to be effected by quantum physics? I am always excited by scientific discoveries...
Interesting blog about that quantum computing article, mostly concerning its rather sensationalized report in the media. However, one of the original authors actually posted a comment to the blog, trying to clarify a few points about the scientific paper.
